Ongoing Activities
Throughout the Northwest Florida Region!
Our purpose is to support and promote youth and high school
student athletes throughout the N.W. Florida region. Our
focus is on Education, Character Building and proper Physical
Development. The thrust of our support is through consulting
as it pertains to the above mentioned focus topics and on
occasion financial support.
Derrick Brooks Charities has contracted Wilson Sports Consulting
to coordinate and oversee all the activities that pertain
to the Purpose. Wilson Sports Consulting is paid a monthly
fee for coordination of this program.

April 4, 2006 David Wilson attends Pensacola Sports Association
Awards
Banquet to accept Award for Derrick Brooks and to promote
Derrick Brooks
Charities.
April 14, 2006 Derrick Brooks and David Wilson attend
Gulf Coast Youth Sports
Alliance Board meeting to help with organizational ideas.
April 24, 2006 through May 17, 2006 Wilson Sports Consulting
working on
Proposal between Florida Home Builders Association and Derrick
Brooks
Charities. This proposal would name Derrick Brooks as the
Associations
Ambassador. Also working on proposal of a local TV show
named The Derrick
Brooks High School Report to air on BLAB TV in Pensacola
Florida dedicated
to youth and high school sports promotion.
May 1, 2006 through May 16, 2006 Wilson Sports Consulting
making personal
visits to N.W. Florida High Schools in order to advise the
high school coaches
of the planned support from Derrick Brooks Charities.
May 17, 2006 The first TV show appears and will continue
weekly through
February 2007 produced and hosted by David Wilson. This
show is sponsored
in part by the Florida Home builders Association as well
as other local sponsors.
Derrick Brooks Charities will also add sponsorship to this
program in the effort
To promote specific activities as planned.
July 2006 Wilson Sports Consulting visits the following
High Schools on a
clinical basis:
Choctaw High School, Ft. Walton Beach High School
Ft. Walton Beach High School
Woodham High School
Washington high School
Pensacola High School
July 26, 2006 David Wilson visits Joshua Driggers in Sacred
Heart Hospital
for Derrick Brooks Charities. Coordinates arrangements for
a personal visit
by Joshua and his family to Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice
facility through the
Make A Wish Foundation.
July 2006 Wilson Sports Consulting delivers a check for
Derrick Brooks Charities
For a youth leagues baseball team to attend The National
Championships. Wilson
Sports Consulting wrote the original check and was reimbursed
by Derrick
Brooks Charities.
August 4, 2006 Wilson Sports Consulting attends a Pensacola
Sports Association
Meeting concerning an annual All-Star Football Game which
Derrick Brooks
Charities has supported and plans on continuing to support.
August 5, 2006 David Wilson speaks to 400 youth football
coaches during a
certification meeting promoting Derrick Brooks Charities
and the support
available to the youth leagues.
August 7, 2006 Wilson Sports Consulting presents a recruiting
seminar to Ft.
Walton Beach High School.
August 8, 2006 Wilson Sports Consulting accepts proposal
from WCOA radio
To name the broadcast of the high school game of the week,
The Derrick Brooks
High School Game of the Week.
August 2006, David Wilson delivers 100 pair of Nike youth
football shoes to 2 different inner city parks, along with
a financial donation to both parks.
August 2006, David Wilson delivers financial donations
to Washington And Pensacola High Schools, all high schools
will eventually receive similar donations.
Oct. 2006, Derrick Brooks Charities agrees to donate 500
youth t-shirts to GCYFA for their Punt, Pass & Kick
Competition Day.
